#1 Sunflowers by Maris Engle Nice composition, Color, and exposure. Judges wanted the flowers closer, or the photographer shooting up thru them. Some thought the sky a bit noisy- 31 pts
#2 We See You by Ken Barrett Good color and exposure. Focus seemed soft. Perhaps crop off the sides, and maybe even the small bird- 31 pts
#3 Orchid by Bob Budka Good lighting, angle, focus, exposure, and color. Some wanted to get rid of the left side stick and tie-37 pts
#4 Conceiving by Jim McClanahan Reasonable color and focus. Impact is mhurt by the distracting background. The shadows on the face and the hot spot on the forehead are also a distraction-29 pts

#5 Ant Scala by Jim McClanahan Not a bad composition. All the hot spots were a problem to the judges, with some also thing concentrating on one tree might be better-28 pts
#6 Blue Ridges by Ken Barrett Nice color layers with good color and exposure. Composition was fine except some wanted the bottom dark area either cropped out or lightened up-36 pts
#7 Peppers by Lindsey Lobree An unusual subject with a reasonable composition. The light seemed a bit harsh, and hot in spots, making the appearance seem "choppy"-29 pts
#8 Reflections by Maris Engle Nice rich color reflections with good color and exposure. Some thight the composition was fine, and some thought it lacked a subject-38 pts

#9 Sun Set Skyline Highway by Joe Colavita
Nice exposure and composition. Most felt the foreground trees distracted the viewer. It also seemed soft and grainy with some thinking the sky was too saturated-33 pts
#10 Neon Kaleby by Bob Budka Good creative image with good color. Nice photoshop work. Some thought the impact and appeal were a bit low-31 pts
#11 Inside St. Giles by Laura Lansford A tough, tough image to try to capture. Done about as well as it can be done without filters or photoshop. The Stained glass is soft and centered. Perhaps cropping off both sides might help-29 pts
#12 Duck Fish 4 by Laura Lansford An unusual scene. It was a bit cluttered. Perhaps cropping off the bottom might help as well as seeing the eye of the duck. Also there were a lot of water reflections-30 pts

#13 Daisy by Joe Colavita A nice angle and composition that fills the frame. There was some discussion of the color. Some thought it a little hot and contrasty with over saturated reds, and some thought the faded and bent petals were distracting-32 pts
#14 Cape Lookout by Lindsey Lobree A pleasing composition with reasonable focus. The impact is weak because of the very unpleasing and weak sky-33 pts
#15 The Diva by Marilyn Frenkel
A nice portrait that fills the frame, as well as good exposure and composition. The focus was soft, and the stage lighting resulted in some odd color and shadows on the subject-34 pts
#16 Joy or Anguish by Marilyn Frenkel
The image had a very pleasing color. The main areas of concern were the image being too blurred, and the feet being cut off almost right at the ankles-31 pts
