Perhaps you could lose some more of the branch in the background. 13+13+13=39 pts |  #3 Lines Gone Wild by Ron Gibbs Nice exposure and night shot with lots of interesting lines/angles. Perhaps a twilight sky might be more interesting, and crop off top just above right side horizontal lines. 12+12+12=36 pts |  #4 Egret in Falling Sunlight by Ken Barrett Good exposure, light/backlight, impact. Too much black to the left of bird, would work better as a vertical. 13+13+14=40 pts |

Freezing the water drips a plus, good photojournalist shot. 10+11+12=33 pts |  #12 Many Fishes by Laura Lansford Interesting lighting of a technically difficult subject. But more needs to be in focus, as well as a focal point. 10+10+12=32 pts |
